Switches are tripped by a voltage pulse or by the application of uninterrupted voltage. When the shunt release is live, contact with the circuit-breaker's main contacts on switching on is reliably prevented. Shunt release modules cannot be installed simultaneously with early-make contact NZM…-XHIV, untervoltage release NZM…-XU…, or relais modules NZM...-X2A...
